New "social" browser coming

Intriguing, if nothing else. A new browser is coming out that supposedly integrates many popular social web activities, like blogging, picture sharing, collaboration, etc. Something to keep an eye on, anyway. http://www.flock.com

I dunno, I think that IE 7.0 will be adding all the stuff in that will be sufficient to kill off competitors, the way MS always does

I hope MS does this. I don't think it will kill off competitors, but it sure would make it harder to compete.

Look at FireFox and Mozilla...they're quite alive and kicking. IE didn't kill them off at all.

Number of releases before Nutscrape was killed by IE: 3

Number of releases of IE since Firefox and Mozilla started to get tracion: 0

I hear the train a comin. It's comming 'round the bend. Swish there goes the features in FF and Moz that differentiated them from IE.

Don't get me wrong ole buddy, but I have seen this so many times before it is like re-runs of Muppets or the Mullets - enough already.

Ok, fair enough. Personally, I like IE and I hope it gets all the features. But I always keep my eyes open for new browsers, and being a web developer, I try them all.

I also do not want to see all the competition die. But I think Firefox and Mozilla have plenty of loyal users that it will be very tough for them to completely roll over. I mean, in a way, Nutscrape is still with us, no? ;-)
